Preston and his Activity Matt...

Preston is almost one month old now! I can't beleive that we have survived almost 4 weeks of no sleep. I can honestly say that I have never been so tired or HAPPY in my entire life. Preston is normally pretty tired most of the time but today, for the first time, he wanted to play! We took a nice walk around the yard to see the birds, flowers and we even found a roly poly bug! It is only a matter of time before my little man and I will be bug hunting together! We came back inside and tested out Preston's new activity mat for a bit with great success. He seemed to have a great time and I was able to capture some great pics of Preston awake. Enjoy :)

Wedding Bells are ringing again...

This weekend we took Preston to the place where it all, offically, began. Garden Vinyards will always hold a special place in our hearts as it was the very place Mason and I were married last August. It was amazing to bring our little man back to that spot and share a special moment together. Preston did great and was a trooper for the entire day!

The VERY spot we took our Wedding Vows!

Introducing Grandpa Ron...

Preston met his Grandpa Ron for the first time this weekend. I think they will be great friends! Grandpa Ron is excited to teach Preston all about racing, fast cars and can't wait to take him to Disneyland for the first time. Since all those activities are a couple years out, their favorite thing to do for now is cuddle. Preston loves to hold his Grandpa's finger. It worked like a charm to get Preston to stop crying :) Mommy was very appreciative!

Happy Mothers Day

Preston was just in time to "qualify" us for the "Parent" holidays this year. Mothers day was so special today. Mason and Preston surprised Mommy with beautiful flowers and lots of love and pampering today. Mason even watched Preston while Mommy took a 2 hour nap AND did laundry! WOW what a great day. I can't keep my eyes off my little man. He is so precious and we are so blessed to have him as a son. What a miracle life is.

Heading Home!

Saturday afternoon we were finally able to bring Preston home. We were so excited to show him his new house, meet the kitties and most of all sleep in our own beds! The first night was interesting but we made it through with limited tears from Preston and mommy!! Everyone is adjusting well and doing great :)

At home in the hospital

Thank-you to all our friends and family who helped us through the past few days with Preston. As new parents we were naturally overwhelmed but all your support and love made it possible. We had a great hospital stay and the nurses were incredible. It was just the right amount of time to help all of us adjust.

Here are some pics of those first precious moments with friends and family...

sew baby sew!

When I was a little girl my Mom taught me to sew. At the time I enjoyed it but never thought it would be a "valuable" skill, until now. If she was here I know my Mom would have made Preston many baby blankets for all the naps he, hopefully, will take. In her honor I invested in a sewing machine and some cute fabric and was able to create an adorable baby blanket for my little man. Thank-you to Sara for helping me "remember" how to use the machine and encouraging me to do it! Added bonus...Daddy is SUPER impressed and feels like he has a whole new wife with "homemaking" skills :) A win win all around.

Woah Baby Belly!

It's almost time...Preston is set to arrive on May 4th, 2011 and it has been quite the journey with him onboard. It is amazing how much my baby belly has grown in just a few short months. We can't wait to meet little Preston and shower him with all the love imaginable!
